:: Christmas 2014 ::

This year, our Christmas was the craziest married holiday we've had yet. Although it was crazy and there was lots of driving and family and go go go, it was so much fun making memories with people we love and watching Liam experience his first Christmas!

We started out in Raleigh with the Branches for Christmas Eve and Christmas morning.

Christmas round 2 was spent with the Wright's at Windy Gap:

After leaving Windy Gap, we met my parents in Hickory where we handed Liam off to go back to Raleigh with them for the weekend while we headed straight to Nashville for Tyler and Shannon's wedding!

2nd Annual Christmas Party with Friends

This year Ben and I were able to host our friends for the 2nd annual Christmas party at our new house! Even though we weren't fully ready to host a crowd, they were all sweet about the circumstances aka a mattress on the floor of the family room. 

We ate our favorite chili and chased 3 babies and 2 big girls around all night! It was so fun to remember last year's party when 2 babies were still in the tummy, Wrenn was just a teeny tiny little newborn, Mary Eden was about Liam's age, and Maggie still ran the show!  So much has changed in a year! 

Ben and I are so thankful for every one of these friends and their precious babies. It has been an incredible blessing to have a built in support system where we can learn from each other, love on each other's kids, and pray for our growing families together. 

We LOVE y'all and couldn't imagine life without you! 

Thanksgiving 2013

This year was our first time celebrating the holidays as a family of 3 and there is something about having a little one around again that makes everything more exciting. I love the thought of including Liam in both the Branch and Wright traditions as well as making our own traditions for our growing family!

We were able to do Thanksgiving in Raleigh and Concord this year with ALL of our immediate family there from both sides! We started off on Thanksgiving Day with my side at my parents house. Jamie was in from Mississippi and Caroline and Will came in town from VA Beach! It was so fun to have 2 new family members there - 2 Williams I might add - this year!

After wrapping up lunch, the annual basketball game(s), and lots of catching up with the Elkins family, we headed to Concord for round 2!

We got to spend lots of good time with cousins, played games, went shopping, watched football, and ate sinful amounts of delicious food - a pretty typical weekend at the Wright house :)
